Medical Instrumentation is the application of several scientific disciplines such as physics, electronics engineering, informatics engineering, and measurement techniques that have the purpose of building a device or tool that will be used for diagnosing a disease, early detection of disease, and patient monitoring. One important component in medical instrumentation is a computer, starting from a microcontroller used in a special medical device to a microcomputer that is used for processing information in a medical imaging system. In Universitas Sebelas Maret, Medical Instrumentation is one of the research groups in the Physics study program. The supervisor of this research group is Prof. Nuryani, S.Si.,M.Si., Ph.D.
